    Tone Circuit:

    If I wire a .47 with a .22 in parallel --- will I end up with a total of .345 ? (47+22)/2

I wanted to try .33 with out getting in my car or paying delivery - will this do the trick ?

Anybody know the formula for 2 caps in parallel ?

No, you want series; its the opposite of resistors. There are calculators on the web. Just put in your values.

Three .47s in series is close concidering tolerances for caps.

    Or .1 and .22 in parallel if you have a .1 .

A+B= total , just like resistors in series. In your example above, you would have .47 + .22 = .69

When you start punching numbers in the calculator, you're talking about .047uf and .022uf to try to make a .033uf effect right? Looked like maybe missing the leading zeros in the post above. Not trying to be nit-picky, but rather helpful...
