I love this guitar and had no intention of fixing the SG so no matter the outcome I am happy. I’ve been searching all over online and cannot find anything the verify solidly that this is a real American fender telecaster. I’ve just been curious recently about it. Any help is appreciated.

    Some odd bits...
    Tuners
    Saddle springs
Volume and tone knob (no hex key screws)
No serial number on bridge or headstock
Neck has strange serial number in weird location
    22 frets

Again, I love this guitar so it’s not a huge deal, but I’m curious and any help is appreciated

    Thanks!

Might be a re-labelled Squier Affinity, might be a fake. It won’t be an American Tele (which would have a wooden truss-rod-hole plug) or a Mexican Tele (which would have a plastic truss-rod-hole sleeve).

If it feels good and it sounds good, it is good!

I don’t think it’s a real Fender, though. Something just doesn’t sit right with me.

    .

    Not Fender, not Squier.

May be a great player though.

Many non-Squier guitars do a better Fender MIA copy than Squier does.
