Just checking to see if anyone can recommend a good Canadian supplier
for Tele style bodies & necks. Being that I don't have any trade skills I'm
looking for finished bodies & necks. The exchange rate is starting to creep
back up there besides I'd rather buy in Canada if I can.

This is also relevant to my interests.

Here's a link to Maverick Guitar Parts in Southwestern Ontario. Great guitar bodies, here a picture of one I purchased for $180.

I'm not sure how many you are after, but the Twelfth Fret in Toronto stocks necks and bodies (as well as everything else to make a complete guitar)

Thanks for pointing out Maverick Guitars allhookedup. I wasn't aware he was based in Southwestern Ontario, and his prices seem very reasonable. And that is a beautiful Tele by the way!

Exotic Woods in Burlington not only sells billets and blanks in every wood you could need, they also cut bodies (not sure about necks).
Last time I was there, there were a few beautiful ones in stock.

Not cheap but good wood, actually made in Canada.

If you want a bit of do-it-yourself you can buy a blank of the correct thickness and a template, then cut it yourself.

Are these parts from "Maverick" made in Canada or imported from china?

I remember seeing his website quite a while ago. It's been changed a bit since then but he skated around that issue without really saying for sure. I suspect all that stuff is imported and he is just a reseller.

He's a reseller, I'm certain they are manufactured overseas to his specs.
My transaction with him was smooth, shipping was fast.

Haven't seen this guy before. Where is he located? Can't tell from the website. I'd be looking for a neck!

Based on this thread I checked out Hansen Kustoms. Erik the owner is a great guy, and he is going to build me a Cabronita. Thanks for the heads up telo

I know, a bit old, but another vote for Hansen Kustoms. Erik put together this snakehead for me. Great job, great price, and a great guy to deal with.

Whoa, I didn't realize my bodies were mentioned here. Thanks for the shout out, allhookedup!

Indeed they are imported, done to my specifications like allhookedup said. I don't recall ever hiding that fact, but if I did, then I apologize.
