He said it was called "Luna Girl" at about 33m.

Dig the mans playing, but when he does these pod cast things...
    Not so much.

    Both are good performances.
But in both, I kept thinking how much better it would be if Jason would just ease off the pounding and play with some varied nuance....

But thats just my own taste and opinion. Rock on son...

I was thinking exactly the same. If i want to be able to pick that one by ear, i will have to listen to greg on his own, because otherwise i won't be able to do it.

I liked him much better as "demo guy" vs "Artist guy". Maybe it's just me.

He's a lot like Phil X: there's no rheostat on his personality. It's either on (100%) or off (asleep).

But I love the fact that Greg--and Phil--are constantly showing just how much fun guitar playing can be. They are great ambassadors from Guitarland.

I have had the great good fortune of meeting both Greg Koch Demo Guy AND Greg Koch Artist Guy. Let me just say you would be hard-pressed to come across two nicer, funnier, or more talented individuals.

@johnny k - I must admit you have great taste! That lick caught my ear as well. It looks like you found the other performances. I love Greg Koch, or the self-proclaimed 'Gregory Kochery'. Super tasty licks, fantastic player.

Heck, his playing in YouTube video on a Wildwood 52 AVRI is what got me to buy my first Tele, and it was from Wildwood. So yeah, I'm a fan.

I had tickets to see him on the Masters of the Telecaster tour in the spring but then the pandemic hit, no reschedule as of now... GE Smith was also on the bill, was hoping to get him to sign my signature Tele ... I miss live music..

True enough . I just couldn't be bothered with his singing to himself so after a minute I lost interest.

I hope he didn't hurt himself with those high notes, or maybe he did and that's what caused it. He can unquestionably play guitar, man can he play, but that singing? Ought to leave that for the shower, when he's alone, and the cat is out of earshot.
