    Such a great tune.
Didn’t know Robert covered it, he did a good job imo.

I like them both with maybe a slight edge to Todd.
It doesn't matter which version they play, Todd still gets his cent and a half royalty if he wrote it.

I've got a background in broadcast radio.
It still bothers me when I notice the ridiculously abbreviated playlists.

Note to program directors: please play some B-sides, live cuts and "original" versions !

Why does any station or satelite channel *ever* play Elton John's "Bennie and the Jets"? There's THIRTY Elton John songs I'd rather hear, and "Bennie and the Jets" is simplistic horse-crap that goes nowhere.

Please play more than 3 Lynyrd Skynyrd songs (and please RETIRE the 3 you wore out for the last 30 years)

Please play more than 3 Boston songs (ditto on the RETIREMENT policy)

Please play more than 2 Bad Company songs.

Please don't play Cheap Trick's "I want you to want me..." ever again.

Please play 5 more Styx songs than you do, and don't ever play "Come Sail Away" or "Lady" ever again.

Please play 5 more REO Speedwagon songs than you do now and don't ever play "Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore" ever again. "Riding the Storm Out" (the live version) never went out of style...you can go back to playing it.

Stop it with the Tom Petty please. He was "ok"...for a very, very, very long-time. That doesn't mean he changed any of our lives. The Cars were more interesting and you give them a tenth of the time.

Don't ever play "Sister Christian" again, nor "Turn Up the Radio", nor "Cult of Personality", nor "Silent Lucidity". Don't reward bad behavior.

I've only gotten to see Todd once - it still ranks up there as one of the best performances I have ever seen.

I've always admired Palmer, and we really lost something great when he died before his time, but Rundgren is just simply another class of writer/performer/musician/producer. Lots and lots of popular people can't hold a candle to Todd. No shame in that, really.
