Yeah, similar process over here in the Memphis area. Down to 49 from a high today of at least 75 this afternoon and should make it down to 38 before daybreak. Cleared out, windy, plenty of opportunity for thermal loss to the atmosphere.

Should be gorgeous, but brisk tomorrow. Pretty sure a lot of the remaining colored leaves on the gums, the hickories, the bradford pears and the white oaks will be down.

N MI today about 30F and windy, with some snow.

I started hunting in NW ONT Oct 28, and now MI. It has rained or snowed & been windy every single day of the eighteen days I’ve hunted. It’s actually getting a bit old, mainly due to the high winds. Last day on ONT -5F with 25 mph winds when we went out, and we sit in the woods quite exposed. Brrr! IMG_7448.JPG

Oh man. I remember so many snowy Michigan days sitting dead still in a blind. When you finally try to move, it's like super slo-mo.

That's funny. I find Celsius lines up so neatly to what I need from a temperature:

    -20: too cold to ski
    -10: skiing weather
    -5: mild skiing weather
    0: freezing point
    10: hoody weather
    20: room temp winter
    25: room temp summer
    30: hot
    40: heat stroke

We were relatively sweltering here in the Pacific Northwest of the US, then October hit and in came the rain. Oh rain, we missed you so...
Then the cold came and everybody was like "Wut?", we even had a few snow flurries that went unreported on NOAA (I still don't understand that one). Now it's just cold and rain, but there's 5x the snowpack on the mountain passes than normal, and certainly colder than what we've had for the last few years of El Niño. I actually like the snow, and I hope we get a bunch of it like back in '90. Yes, lots of people were without power and I-5 was a bobsled run except for all the abandoned cars, but I loved it. It was a nice change from all the rain, though I don't mind that either. What I REALLY hate is when we get a good snow, and the rain comes the next day turning everything into dirty melting slop. No fun in that...

Today it's 43°F (6°C) with 80% chance of rain later today, and the rest of the week looks even wetter. Hot cocoa weather, that.

    Hey, that's pretty nifty! Thanks!

It was about 40 here yesterday, and rained ALL day. Last night at the gig it crept up to about 55. Still wet. At the end of the gig, it was 37. And still wet. Today so far it has rained, snowed, hailed, and now freezing rain.
