It wasn’t even close for me. A Hiwatt or classic British stack... yeah right. I have 6 amps- 6 chances to get it right, and not one of those is even close.

I can't start the quiz! I'm really curious though!

    Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha I fooled them!

All my answers were honest too, and they guessed Fender Twin or deluxe reverb.

    All Marshall’s all the time!

    Maybe they mixed us up?
    You want my Twin?
    I’ll trade for your Hiwatt!

I didn't like the proposed answers either.

And it missed on the amp. I've never owned a Vox.

I do own a Mesa TA-15 which I bought because my late wife liked its clean Vox sound. So they were close.

    That’s kind of eerie.
Maybe your wife visits and hangs around sometimes?
Not like a ghost, just however we feel loved ones stay with us.

Welp. Maybe mine just got lucky. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

    Sorta true.
    I like em’.
I’ve never owned one, though I might someday.

I took it twice. Each set of answers--many individual ones the same--overlapped. The result was very close the first time. But waaaaay off the second. Even though on that one I chose the acoustic as the type of guitar I'd grab first, they identified my go-to amp as a heavy metal shred thing. Which I detest! My narcissism piqued, I'm gonna take it one more time. I answer honestly each time, but since my playing and tastes are so shifting, I can see where the algorithms are puzzled.

The result was even closer to accurate this third time 'round. Wonder what input triggered the one egregious shred-head error that the quiz generated....?

Quizzes about my eating habits always trigger odd urges for things I rarely eat, but quizzes about exercise habits don't seem to make me start jogging again. I call conspiracy!

Vox combo was my answer. I do not own a Vox, but do have a Blackstar with the ISP feature and an EL84 amp I like...so, meh...okay.

Not even close. It projected Marshall and I’ve never owned a Marshall.

They did a little better on the guitar. They said Les Paul or SG. I don't like SGs. But I do have an LP Special with P90s. So they were close.

It picked a VOX AC15. I have an AC15C1 but usually play my 68 Princeton Reverb Reissue or 68 Deluxe Reverb Reissue. I have considered selling the VOX.

It told me I play a Twin or Deluxe, so they got my target tone right, I just do it with small modeling amps, since I use the BF Deluxe Reverb settings most of the time on my Mustang LT25 and THR10C.

I don’t have a twin, but there is one here locally in a pawn shop about $800 that I’ve been thinking about... got to get one before they go over a grand again...

the only thing about that is that between “sg/les Paul” and “strat/tele” you have about 80%+ of the market covered. You could almost guess 50/50 right/wrong just with those two answers...
