    Hi,

I would like to ask if any of you Luthiers or builders with the tools can make
me 3 pieces of a 1/8" wood plate which would fit into Tele bridge route?

I will pay for your trouble. Just PM me.

    Thanks,

    Sekt88

If I'm guessing right you're wanting to mount your bridge pickup onto wood rather than on the bridge plate.
You should be able to get what you want using as little as a hacksaw / coping saw and some sandpaper.
You could either trace around your bridge pickup to get the shape, or print out the relevant seciton of the TDowns blueprint to stick to your wood blocks.

Much cheaper than paying somebody else.

You could always try taking the section of the blueprint along to a local timber merchant or cabinet makers shop. They'll usually do jobs like that for a nominal charge. Unless you find an obliging TDPRIer in Germany that will probably be cheaper than paying the postage.

Personally, if I was doing it I'd prefer to spend my money on a bit of wood and coping saw (about £4 here in the UK) that I would be able to get future use out of in other applications.

I just FINISHED building 2 of them and that´s it. I limit myself to switching pickups but I want to make music, not guitars.

With that reply I don't know if anyone else will even bother to reply. Lighten up a bit...People are curious by nature and ask questions. I know you are wanting an answer and if you are patient you will get one. I would do it for you but I wont be at or near a shop for 2 weeks myself.

Well Mr. sekt88 ............. I'd say with that attitude your chances of getting help with this have just dropped dramatically.

Are you doing this for 3 guitars or just 1? I can cut 3 pieces or 1 thicker piece, whichever way you want to go.
