Somehow Ive always been just a stones throw or a bike ride away from the, sea/ pacific ocean here in the south bay or by the ocean near Catalina Channel, in San Pedro, Long Beach,, been here all my years..
all 57 of them so far. the entire family's moved away, some to Riverside, Downey, Reno, Texas, Big Bear, Sturgis, Florida Keys,

but im the only one who stayed here by the sea.

right in front of the yellow triangle are two palm trees, I now live across from them on bayshore. 5 years so far. that corner was nick named "Horny Corner" in the 60's because you can drive by and see bikinis on the beach from your car.
the next pic is here in front of the pad.

Born in Needles. Raised all over Northern California: Paradise, Ukiah, Boonville, Gold Run, Lower Lake. (My dad was a school principal, and--I see it now--a bit of a tramp.) College in Redlands, then lived in Walnut Creek, moved to Oregon, brief return to Arroyo Grande, California, back here since 1981.

Transplant from Colorado Springs, been here since 2012 and hate it! It's too damn hot and I miss the Rockies.

Burbank. Transplant from the east coast in 1991. Wont live anywhere else. Love SoCal!

Don, I did a lot of training for the last Ironman Arizona in that water in front of your place. A great and safe place to swim and I did quite a bit of running on the beach to. Love it down there.

Hi. My name's oatsoda, and I'm a recovering Californian.

Lots of positives about the bubble, but hard to see anything outside it clearly while you're still on the inside.
