are you folks still enjoying your Cabronitas.?
The dust settled on them a while back and I thought I'd raise the topic.

I picked up a mim blonde ash model years back for a decent price.
    Mine is stock.
I love the neck, the look, the simplicity
However I find myself thinking it's a bit muddy sounding.
At times I feel the Tele bite n snarl is not there.
Is this gretsch meets Tele mixup, just that and does neither well?

    What say Ye?

I have guitars that come and go from the rotation and guitars that are permanently in use. My Cab is currently on vacation, with some of his buddies........

My Cab was my No 1 until the saddle height screws decided to wander. I've been using my Hagstrom Viking, but the Cab is ready to go so when I get back into jamming it will be tele time. ( the other bloke I jam with is away on a holiday)

It's my second most versatile 'Tele', and find mine bright, not dark, the other has p90 and PAF, a real Swiss Army knife.
I find I can deal with Filtertrons in a Fender design, but cannot quite master a actual Gretsch. Those damn things pick up every unwanted noise I make.

Had it for almost a year and a half now. Honeymoon continues. I've got like 8 guitars and I'm still using it about 50% of the time. It's a great all-around guitar that sounds just as good clean or dirty.

I've had my Thinline Cab for a couple years, now, and play it a lot.
Recently added a solidbody - it's even better.

I added a stacked pot for volume & tone control to both of them.

They are 2 of my favorite guitars!

Had my solid body Cab for a couple of years and I really like it with a lot of OD. Lately I have been appreciating the clean, bright tones of these Fidelitrons. The neck is incredible as well. This is a keeper.

I love mine. It's been in my heavy rotation for the last year and I've gotten the sound dialed in the way I want. I'm a bit of a knob fidgeter, so the simplicity is great for me.

I bought a black one when they were being blown out for $400. However, I didn't really like the Fidelitrons. I sold it to a buddy and I think he is feeling the same way. Instead I built a Jazzmaster with TV Jones Brian Setzer sigs and I love that guitar with those pickups.

I have a 2011 MIA body with TV Jones Powertrons, Callaham bridge and a neck I made... great guitar.

IMG_7393.JPG I like mine but don't love it.... can't really explain why.
I do love the neck, I'm thinking about pulling it for a project and selling the loaded body.

Silly question here so bear with me, why one (volume?) knob and a switch (?) and not two knobs (1 vol, 1 tone)?

I did not bond with my MIM Thinline, even after a bridge and pickup upgrade.
    I blame the Thinline body.
    It looked amazing.
My avatar guitar is a half Cabronita, perhaps I need to put a TV Jones Classic+ in the bridge position.

Mine's the Squier. I still love it and play it regularly. Fun, simple, comfortable and has a unique sound. I like how it sits between regular Tele and Gretsch. I think of it as it's own thing rather than leaning toward one or the other.

Dig mine and use it in phases. It's a bit modded: had the wiring switch swapped out and a treble bleed mod. so when I roll it back a little, it keeps the top and makes it a more subtle operator. Took the gloss of the neck, changed the guard. Kept the bridge though as I have no issues with mine.
