Does a Córdoba guitalelle count?. SDOTD half price $119 with solid top and electronics. Guess I’ll be giving my little Yamaha guitalelle to one of the grandkids.

Didn’t buy it this weekend but it got delivered this weekend so close enough. New Blackstar Artist 15 and Epiphone Es-339 but my tele felt left out so I let her into the picture as well .

I'm still waiting for it to arrive in the store. I have put a deposit down if that counts!

I answered "no" but would like to qualify by saying I did look at some guitars briefly Saturday night. I just got an Ibanez bass for Christmas, so what I really need to be doing is trading some of my crap for a bass amp, but I digress.

I happened to be at Guitar Center Saturday evening after a soccer tournament, and I looked at a couple 000-size acoustics, and a pretty nice Classic Series 50's Tele in sunburst. The Tele reminded me strongly of a 1998 Collector's Edition Tele I once owned. That color is really nice, I think it's 2-color sunburst.

I didn't play anything; this store is not my favorite GC within driving distance, and honestly I only went in to use the restroom anyway.

Welllll.....technically I pulled the trigger two months ago, but it ARRIVED today. A Ron Kirn Signature T. Black w/ tortoiseshell pick guard, rosewood fb, Seth Lover neck p/u and a Jerry Donahue bridge p/u! It's still in the box for temperature adjustment reasons. Suspense is a'killin' me!

No. BUT I was badly tempted by a 1984 Gibson "Designer Series" Explorer. It looked like the one below, with the ugly stripes (IMO), but it was really, really beat up, chipped, dented, tarnished, etc. It was $699 CDN, about $530 US + tax...

I am in no position to have sprung for it, even for that low a price tag. I still though about it, but the jack was barely working (a cheap fix) and the pots had no taper (like only from 10 to 0 at about the 3 position), leading me to think they might be cheap replacements? I had no confidence in whether the pickups would be original, so I ran outta there before I found out and thought even harder about handing over my money!

I should really not walk into any guitar stores.

Options A and C, actually. I bought a guitar for which the seller had purchased a second neck, and he included it with the guitar. What do I win?
