Just curious which brand of BMM did you use to achieve this color?
I take the color code to a Sherwin Williams automotive paint shop and have them mix it…. but… remember, it’s clear coated with the Sherwin Williams Nitrocellulose lacquer… so that guitar, being at the very least several years old, will have shifted in appearance as the lacquer becomes more and more amber.

you know that old local show “the beat!!!” that has all those clips of Freddy King performing back in the early to mid 60s? It was a Texas local show? Gatemouth Brown was the band leader?

On either that show or a show just like it, there’s a couple of clips where the back up rhythm guitar player is playing what looks to be a brand new burgundy mist metallic strat . He’s standing right next to the drummer.

I can’t find it ! 😩

Man I would love to play in a church band. I want to jam with a church band like on the Blues Brother with James Brown.
Honestly, it is a lot of fun. We’ve all been playing together for a few years now. Worship leader/main singer on acoustic and sometimes keys, me on electric (usually a Tele or Gretsch Jet), bass player (Pbass) and drums. One or two backup singers, usually. We have two drummers in the line up (one per week) and our church is really good about teaching the younger teens coming up on how to play this style of music, etc. I didn’t start until I was in my early 30’s. Lot of fun, but carries the stresses of playing live, too. Highly recommend. If you’re ever in central CA, come jump in with us!

By any chance do you have that paint code? It'd much appreciated!
