Agreed when they are on Fender classic colours and the pau ferro is light tan or reddish. It just ain't right.

Cool. Really like the LPB I picked up for my son last time around. Would be perfect but the nut seems cut on the high E to close to the edge so it frets out too easily there.

Holds its own against the vintage teles in the house.

I don't know a lot about the nuances of "Squier". Is there any significance to "Bullet", "Classic Vibe" and so forth?

I've got one too, Firebird pup in the neck and a bigsby, can't go wrong with these.

They make for a cheap platform for modifications that you wouldn't perform on a $2k guitar. Maybe I'll get another...

Answering my own questions. Picked up an LPB Bullet, 7.1 lbs., Yes, a MIM Tele neck will fit. This is an incredible deal. Having lots of fun with it already.
