Bulletproof current production 12AY7's?

    I honestly assumed that all 7025s were just 12AX7s that tested exceptionally well and/or high at the factory and were set aside as 'high-grade'...I guess it doesn't really matter, though.

    I've got one in V1 of my Super and it's a great tube. It's a good thing preamp tubes rarely need changing. I've got the EH in V1 and JJ ECC803Ss in V2 and V3.

    I like EH... and I never believed the bad hype about bum ones... but I have started seeing that there are too many bad ones.

    Bulletproof? Not sure of any 12AY7's (NOS or new!) that are bulletproof - if you find a brand, let us know... I'd still probably gamble with my EH's though :)
