I made a few tools , some rockers , notched straight edge and a short sanding beam. I used a marble threshold . I started by fretting a neck i wasn't planing on using it because there was a dot destroyed , and the thickness is a little under the one inch mark . I replaced the dot , and did the frets and leveling .

The first neck fretted is at the back , on the second i did not remove the marks left by the fret saw depth guide , the next on i cleaned the mars and used my micro mesh to go to 12000 grit , the last on same deal but i made a pencil mark on the neck at each grade except the last two ones and the result is remarkable .

This is where that sheet of veneer for the heel would come in handy!

On the first picture you can see one line left by the fret saw depth guide , there used to be one on each fret , i ironed them out . I glad it was that easy .

I was planing a leveling party since i got seven more to do . On the first on i checked all the high spots and tried with my radius block ,since i dont have all the fancy jigs for that , so i removed most of them lets say about 60% where gone before the leveling , and it was a quick job . I could not get the small spots .

I cut my self some 3/8 dowel and use them with the press drill chuck to pressure smaller area of the fret and properly seating them one end to the other and got no more rocking after 3 go around , so 100 % fixed . The dowel spited every few minutes , you need to be careful not the damage the fretboard like i did but the Iron saved the day again! I had not glued the frets yet thank god for mistakes and that got me the noticed the fix of the fret saw lines.

Apologies for being late to the party, but I had to say that this thread and the accompanying videos on YouTube (which is where I happened across your work) are truly inspiring. Bravo!
