So I had this crazy idea to create a custom pedalboard. I fell in love Mick's TPS SA450 green pedalboard but the price tag is a bit steep for me.

I've chosen to try to use 2 old pine bedside tables I picked up off of Gumtree for 15 notes. I have limited wood work ( 0% ) experience so this should be fun!!

    Follow me on my quest!

I'll upload so photos soon if it lets me.

    .

    Yes, post some pics.

    I have a garage-sale briefcase I've started on.

Pedalboards are where you find/envision them. I have a teak "welcome mat" designated as my next pedalboard (or 2). I like my aluminum factory job, but it just doesn't have enough square footage for all this stuffo_O. Smallish coffe cup for size reference.

Have made good progress today without chopping any of my fingers off!

    I'm nick naming "the breadbin".

Now I need to plan the cable gullies and order some hinges for the shelf.

I'll mount the PSU under the pedalboard.

I'll also look to paint it.

    What do you think?!

Cool design. I watch TPS a bit, but funny enough I don't think I've ever really payed much attention to their boards. The gig rig stuff doesn't interest me nearly as much as the different sounds they play with.

    Here it is.

Next will be to install velcro and cable up. Gigrig generator PSU will sit underneath.

I may have to install a extra support for the shelf if I plan to step on the top row of pedals. Also a handle and a lid would be good.

I've just worked out how much this cost me to make.

£15 for the 2 bedsides used from Gumtree.
    £6.48 hinges
    £11 paint
    £10 Pedalboard tape

    Total £42.48

I already had the tools (well sort of).
