If I could only have 5 on the board, of my current pedals it would be, in order,
Boss SD 1, TC Electronics Mojomojo, TC Electronics Iron Curtain Noise Gate, DOD Ice Box Chorus, Digitech Digiverb. If I could add a sixth I'd drop a dynacomp in front of it all, and off board a wah.

Currently putting together an updated board. Will try to remember to post pics when done.

Wampler Mini Ego Compressor>Wampler Tumnus>Strymon El Capistan>Strymon Flint>(still want to buy a Wampler Terraform)>Champ 5F1 clone with 12" ceramic Jupiter speaker. Power via a Strymon Ojai R30.

The jury is still out on the comp. It may get sold and swapped for an EQ pedal, which would probably give me infinitely more use for what I do. I mostly play clean, but the EQ into the (gain turned up) Tumnus could cover any overdrive needs I could possibly have. Of course, I can get a push from comp into overdrive too.

Thinking of adding a mini Polytune also...but not sure where it would fit on my Nano+ board with the rest of this stuff. And I would like to add an off-board looper eventually, too. But it would probably be a 5-pedal board with tuner and looper off-board.

I only have one of the pedals that make up my dream board, the Kelley Mini Compressor. I would gladly give up my Hall of Fame 2 for a Crazy Tube Circuits White Whale reverb/tremolo. add to that a Crazy Tube Circuits Crossfire and a wah pedal and I don’t see myself needing a 5th. Maybe I’d go with a chorus pedal there, IDK.

Cheating really, I have a TC electronic Plethora and a Spark on a 5 way board. Spark has active tone controls and does overdrive. Plethora contains the software of nearly every digital pedal TC make. You can select 5 at a time and store 127 different combinations. Amongst my Plethora 5 is often compressor, echo, reverb, then maybe flanger, Viscous vibe, doubler or chorus. The rest are, an acquired taste.

-Tube Screamer (prefer 9 or 808–reissue of course, because…poverty)
-MXR Phase 90 (script circuit preferred, maybe a Phase 95?)
-Fuzz Face of some sort (I currently use a Dunlop JH-2S Jimi Hendrix Classic Fuzz, a Fuzz Face in a Phase 90 enclosure)
-MXR Micro Amp
-Lone Wolf Blues Company Harp Break (harmonica overdrive/distortion pedal—makes any amp sound like a small tube amp about to explode; although it’s not designed for it, it also works well for lo-fi guitar distortion, a la Pat Hare)

To make it five, remove the Mister-O; unless I'm using an amp with built-in reverb, then remove the Topanga:

Dyna Comp Deluxe > MXR Analog Chorus > Mojo Hand Mister-O > Carbon Copy Deluxe > Catalinbread Topanga > Boss TR-2

I notice you are using a Fender amp. You could probably eliminate the need for at least a couple of those pedals by using a different amp ? And use an amp with mods. You may be able to cut the pedal use down to 2.

For sure. For me though, the Champ is good enough. I also run an SCX2 and a Vox AV60, in which case I use the amps' built-in reverb.
