I saw them this past weekend at the Wiltern Theater in LA. It was one of the best concerts I've been to in the last 20 years. In some ways they're better now than they were in 1967 and 1968 ( I saw them when they played at my high school and then I saw them a couple times at the Ice House in Glendale). It is a spectacular concert, their voices are un-dimmed by time, or at least work perfectly now for those songs, they all play guitar at least as well as they did then, maybe better, and they were clearly having a lot of fun. Highly recommended.

With ticket prices ranging from $120 to over $400, I'll pass. My hero worship goes only so far.

I was wondering why Crosby and Nash were on Jimmy Fallon the other day. That makes sense now. Steve and Neil are busy!

I'd love to see Buffalo Springfield, especially if it's a full band with loud gretsch guitars

One of my all-time favorite bands. Wonder if they'll come to VT?

    Can't wait

Bit off topic....did anyone catch the Neil Young Tribute concert that has been playing on Paladia? I may have missed the boat if this is old news, but it is TRES TRES awesome. Urban Keith, Foggerty, Wilco, Mellencamp....

Crosby wanted to reunite the surviving Byrds and open for Buffalo Springfield, but McGuinn didn't want to do it.

I'd love to see them, but not $100+ worth. I just can't afford that kind of luxury.

I've seen a lot of the YouTube clips....
Is it my imagination, or is everything played at a very slow tempo??

Oh, and you might enjoy this....

Hillman told me once he is open to a reunion idea but McGuinn has consistently stated it is completely out of the question.

He and Camilla hold a very low opinion of Crosby I believe.

    Old wounds I surmise.

Indeed! I can't imagine paying that much to see anyone... except maybe the Buffalo Springfield!

And I'll probably be sitting there with happy tears running down my face!

Yes, the tickets were incredibly expensive. But not more than a weekend trip somewhere. And my wife and I both felt that we got more pleasure out of this concert than we would from a weekend out of town.
