Anyone seen and like the Buddy Holly Story with Gary Busey? Loved that movie as a preteen(still do) one of the motivating factors in me wanting to become a musician.

I have been hearing Buddy Holly since childhood. I have a set that includes the country and western stuff that he recorded in
Waco, iirc, as well as the last things he did in NYC.
That Midnight Shift type of music is probably One of the things that would have…and did….raise eyebrows here in his hometown. Devil’s music, I tell ya!!!! Eeeehaw….. They burned certain records here, don’t you know?
Times change, money talks, and finally Lubbock has acknowledged Holly’s stature in the musical world.
