Covid-19 is wrecking havock on older jazzmen.
Amazing guitar player. He will be missed. His son, John, is no slouch though!

To everyone who loves The Music please keep their memories safe in Your Hearts. Bucky’s Life is was and always be extraordinary. Condolences to The Pizzarelli Family and especially to all of Bucky’s long-standing Fans and all of his new and future Fans.
Bucky Pizzarelli’s Guitar was the soundtrack of much of my childhood and Your’s too if You’re a sixty something.
Oh no. Rest in peace. I will listen to him today.
I have a live album of Bucky and John and it's very good. A sad loss indeed.
I love the line that was in the article from the New York Times, Bucky describing the situation with many of his family members playing with him at one point in his career… He said they, “were like the Von Trapp family on martinis...”
