Who here has one of these? My GAS is working on me bad for one of these. If you have one how is the 7.25 radius with the vintage frets? Both my AVII guitars have vintage tall frets and play amazingly but I’m not sure how the normal vintage frets would work with it. I do have a Strat that has vintage frets but it has a 9.5 radius neck and it plays great also. Also how does it sound? I like the description Fender gives of the pickups but wonder how they compare to my AVII 1951 pickups which sounds incredible.

I’ve also never seen one in the wild.
This is my homage.
Under that patriotic Krylon is a pawn shop purchase Squier affinity.
I’ve gigged with it and it does just fine.

I have a semi-valid mental block around radii below 9.5” but never had one long enough to see if it’s workable for me or not in the long run. I just don’t like the higher frets and how they feel during bends. But honestly if I otherwise really liked the guitar I’d still get it and figure out how to make it work

I like the 7.5 inch radius with the vintage tall frets. Just don’t know if I would like the combo of it and vintage style frets.
