I bought a cheap Chinese made semi-hollow body guitar off Amazon not too long ago and kind of impressed with it. I think this was a perfect track to give it a go, plugged into my Super Champ X2

@Mellencaster : smooth and delicate sound and playing; sweet! Woud you tell me (as a former Superchamp user), which channel / emulation you used?

The volume one channel and no emulation on this channel, it has taken a while for me to warm up to this channel but I am enjoying it more than ever now.
some say it has a Fender Princeton sound but I wouldn't know, I never owned or played one.

@knh555 - Your gear gives a lovely atmosphere towards this track. Sweet playing!
@Alan L Cole - Nice jazz/Blues vibe! Great tone with fresh lines all through and very charismatic playing.
@fendrguitplayr - That's a sweet tone and at times Santana like.Very sweet track, Mike.
@bgmacaw - Awesome slide show to go with your track, lovely melodic lines and it has that psychedelic feel to it.
@NWinther- Your signature modulation and the saturated tone is very sweet on this, reminds me of the eighties. Great singing lines.
@estreet - Great clean tone and lovely lines with your charismatic effects and tones. Thank you, Carl, for your effort and time, it was a fun track.
@JCL50 - Your opener with the octaves and soft playing was great, the combo of guitars and tones sounded sweet.
@udoering - Very passionate phrasing and great tone, what else can I say it, sounded very good.
@guitarsophist - Sweet clean sound and lovely phrasing, I'm enjoying your stuff.
@ASATKat - Very Santana-ish , some lovely phrasing and I quite liked the throatie tone. The second track is such a nice soft approach. Very nice chordal work!
@fendrguitplayr - I quite liked how your sounds gels with the tracked instruments. Smooth dynamic lines and a very nice sound.

@ASATKat : I have to say that I like the bluesy sequences better than the more jazzy ones. Like the sliding-up at about 2:30. Second track is quite another thing; very nice chord work!

Thank you for #2's critique. That warm ASAT Special tone shines, it makes the playing lots easier. It's like going to the gig with a beautiful woman.
#1's kind of playing is, and always has been a work in progress, to blend blues and my idea of jazz at that moment. I could play it straight blues if that's what I thought of at that moment. I just didn't think of it. I'm a loose cannon.

Lol, too cool, that was my Black Magic Woman Santana tone on #1. I have a Europa tone that I sculpted too, that's a bit more hi gain Santana singing tone though. Too much for this subtle minor blues.

#2 is the amp's clean mode, the tone has very effective body or substance or character or emotive quality behind it, it has zero of that thin sound trying to be masked that so many amps suffer from,,,, well I'm the one that suffers. It's truly hard to get a thin shrill tone out of this amp, turn bass and mids off, crank the treble,,, still no shrill tin foil tone. It's nuts.

    Thank you for your critique.

Beautiful tone and the reverb is lushly wet.

Did you put a mic in front of the amp? Nice room sound.

Thank you, I used the line out to my audio interface for this one but I've done both with a mic about a foot away for room sound and line out at the same time, I quite the like the results for that setup

Mjark I guess going without a guitar for eight days will do this, you had to let it all out :) What a performance! Take a bow! That was awesomely expressive.

Wow! Reminds me of James Wilsey. Drenched in lovely reverb.

That's just lovely. Sounds like a smokey club, back when they used to smoke in clubs.

When I was 10 with family on Broadway in San Francisco I heard some great jazz guitar, this wss right after I first heard the Beatles, anyway wandered away and went in the club. First thing I noticed was the massive cigarette smoke. The second thing I noticed was Wes Montgomery playing. Then they kicked me out. But I saw Wes. A great unforgetable moment.

@Mjark : Mike nailed it; a lovely track!
@Carl_Tone : nice to hear from you again! That was an awsome jazzy-bluesy tack, well built up.
