Brother-In-Law’s new B-bender

On vacation in Tennessee last week, my BIL purchased a used B-Bender Tele, American-made Fender, the S/N dates it to ‘88. The mechanism is part of the neck plate, but there’s no name on the mechanism. Does it look familiar to anyone? And get a load of this case…

Guy at the shop says it was done by “some guy in Nashville named Glasner” but all Glaser’s have the name on them.

I don't believe that my 1991 and 1993 Glasers have the name stamped on the lever, but they're at home. In the meantime, the more interesting question is why there seems to be a cutaway on the upper bout.

That's a Glaser style, he probably just didn't have the name etching for whatever reason. Looks like a cool guitar!

The case is the same Fender was using in 1980+ I have 2 One tele one Strat,,,, HAHA I just noticed the painted case !! That's cool. He got an early Glaser ! Does he want to sell it !!!

I had a Glaser in the mid 1980s, it looked like your BIL’s.
Mine had a couple more holes in the lever, for different throws.
