Bridge Pin size for Yamaha FG180

    Can anyone help me with bridge pins for my 180 Taiwan 1971 I think. What size? Please heip.

    They’re probably 5 degree taper, based on information on the Yamaha FG website. However, the holes are likely going to be too small for the commonly available pins.

    I bought a cheap reamer off Amazon so I could fit ordinary pins on my old Yamahas. Didn’t want to see them sitting up too high...

    You're saying bridge pins come in sizes? I guess I'm not an acoustic guitar guy.

    Colosi does not give pin sizes for old Yamies but I happen to have an FG-150 and could pull the pins and measure what it in it. The problem is that over the years yours (or mine) may have had the pin holes reamed so it may be meaningless.
