Does anyone know where I can buy black twine to wrap my bridge pickup?
White is the only type available at Stewmac and Mojo and as everyone knows the wrap makes the tone :)

any black 100% cotton string of the same size will do. Though if you are making a vintage correct pickup, I seem to recall that Leo never used black cotton string back in the 50s, the string was white but was dyed by either black pigment or black wax in the potting mixture, I'll go back and double check my notebook and the blackguard book.
EDIT: went back and checked my notes as well as the blackguard book. The string started out white and got dyed by black wax.
