I just bought a brand new body off ebay that is routed for a Filtertron bridge pickup with a rear control route, so I thought I'd build a La Cab. But here's where I'm running into a rub: the pre-drilled start holes for the bridge/tail piece don't match what I'm used to for Telecasters. There are three holes behind the six string holes, measuring about 1-13/16" center-to-center from the first hole to the third hole. I presume these are standard for some variety of bridge/tail piece, but I have no idea which one. Ideally, I'd like to mount a three saddle Tele style bridge with compensated saddles. Does anyone out there know of a bridge that will work with this configuration?

    Thanks, folks!!

You should try to contact the seller first, as he built it.

i know many people replace the factory bridge on MIM La Cabronitas with a standard MIA Strat hardtail bridge... would that work for you?

this is a solid bet for what you'd like to use and i'd just simply be drilling new holes to mount it

although you can find it half that price ...

i work in mm so not 100% if these jive with your hole measurements?

you could put some individual brass saddles on there
