Damn, what a shame. Even goes to show that people with healthy habits can still develop cardiovascular disease.
Leading killer in this country & I'm sure many others. :(

Brian is a musical hero of mine so I’m relieved that he is ok. Congratulations to Brian for giving us a few more years. Hopefully many more.

Glad to hear he's on the mend.
Just another reminder that no amount of skill, talent or privilege exempts anyone of health issues. Any one of us can do "everything" right, and still be struck down without warning. Best wishes to all.....;)

Or you can be like Keith and Jerry Lee, and credit your longevity to dirty living

I don't know about Lewis, but I think we all know that Keef isn't from this planet.....
....and, for every Keef, or Les Paul, or any number of long lived musicians....how many DOZENS don't make it to start drawing Social Security? :(

Of the five pillars of rock and roll

    Elvis
    Chuck
    Little Richard
    Buddy
    And Jerry lee

    Only Jerry lee remains.

If you were taking bets in 1957 as to who would be alive in 2020 the smart money wouldn’t be on Jerry lee.

Heard him speaking on his Youtube channel on my phone this a.m. He sounds fine and is thankful for all the good wishes he's received.

I saw what you did there. We all need to follow the advice: “Keep Yourself Alive”

Heart issues many times don't bring attention to it until another issue brings attention to it. I too, thought I was healthy. My feet swelling was the symptom. 80% blockage, no attack, I was lucky. You could have spoke to Brian an hour after the procedure and you would know nothing. Here is the good thing, Brian was probably feeling slightly ****ty, but it is gradual, not always noticeable. He will feel peep he has been missing the last couple of years in the next day. It is that quick, but not "PICARD" quick. Trekkers will understand.

    Sad to hear that yesterday.
Had to wonder if his gardening accident was really some other health scare?
    Hope he gets better!

The list is deceptive. Only Buddy and Elvis died young.
Jerry is the youngest of the rest at 84.
Chuck died in 2017 at the age of 90
Little Richard was 87 when he died a few weeks ago.
