I looked up no knead bread . This is not that . No yeast and no rising or waiting .
Mix it up , put it in the oven and bake . All told , less than an hour from start to finish .

I'd make a bunch of puns concerning bread, but I'm loafing right now. When I finally rise to the occasion, I'll subject you to the flouring of my intellect, no matter how half baked. I'm hoping to make a little dough out of all of this, no matter how you slice it, but that's the yeast of my worries! Please don't pan me! Thank you, I'll be here all week!

Far more simple than any of these recipes others have posted . No yeast . No rising/waiting . No water . From start to finish , about 50 minutes to an hour .
By the way , it's rather good tasting .
    4 cups flour
    2 cups buttermilk
    1 Tso baking soda
    1 Tsp baking powder
    Honey
    1 Tbsp sugar
    Butter
    1/2 Tsp salt
    Mix dry ingredients
    Add buttermilk and mix
Knead by hand until smooth and silky
Set into buttered pan / Dutch Oven
Slice top and brush in honey
    350 degrees for 35-45 minutes .

We're still getting sourdough bread from a friend of a friend. Proofed 24 hrs.I'm told that cuts down on the gluten.
