    Pretty much, yes. then again, the whole film's historical accuracy is dubious at best. The Netfix film 'Outlaw King' serves a better picture of Robert the Bruce.

    My 7 year old daughter is fond of playing in Cambuskenneth Abbey, one of Wallace's arms lies buried in the corner of the grounds, we walk over Stirling bridge where the battle took place every day on the way to her school, I guess you call it living history.

    Me wee Ma, was a history and science buff when she was in school , she thought both Wallace's portrayal and Robert the Bruce, were miss portrayed , from what i believe, my mothers ancestry included the jackobites along the way , ( how ever the movie does deserve at least 2 sceenings)

    Don’t get me wrong - I love that movie. I own it.

    But it should have just been made as complete fiction, rather than butchering history.
