    You could try zzounds. I regret I didn't try to see if they would match the price. Usually when I have 15 or 20% off coupons from Guitar center, they will match the price and give me 8 or 12 monthd to pay.

    I have 2 guitars from World Music Supply and they are just like they come from factory, pretty good. If you look at my threads you will see they made a mistake when I ordered a Channel Bound Strat, they sent me a Telecaster Channel Bound which I ended up keeping since it was awesome and I got a discount for the inconvenience.

    Update…
    Fed Ex successfully delivered the $949 Tele to my office today. I tuned it up, tweaked the truss rod for a bit of relief and it plays great. This weekend I will be giving it a re-string with .010s and a full setup. I am more than happy with this purchase and my dealings with World Music Supply. Tele1.jpg

    You CAN negotiate with them, especially if you have a dedicated sales rep.

    The Big Brown Truck brought my $879 open box Strat today .
    MF said the pickguard was scratched - it was not .

    That looks to me the wrong case, ime Standards come with the G & L cases, (Fender branded) in black or tweed, no? The one you have is a very good case, I have one myself (the Fender ABS moulded one) but a far as I know, new Fender US Standards don't come with this case. Just an observation.

    That case came with the Strat I bought last fall. Its an updated Fender SKB case.

    The only time I got a G&L case, was when it came with my AVRI '62 Tele and I have purchased several Fender guitars (AmStd) since 2010.

    Updated Fender SKB case? No, that is an Fender ABS moulded case (or strats or teles), I know, cos I have one.

    The red handle is the giveaway.

    That ABS case is the one that Sweetwater is currently showing with American Standards in their guitar gallery. They must have changed it at some point.

    My open box Strat came in a Fender ABS case .
    (the same one as Yankee got with the red handle)

    ABS is the plastic the case is made of. The case is made by SKB for Fender.

    I don't believe that SKB is making the current Fender ABS cases.

    Yeah, here is one. The case you got is the one sweetwater shows.

    I don't know which one is better but I wonder why they are different. My guitar is 2015, how about yours?

    If you call your Sweetwater rep, they'll hook you up. I just picked up an Limited Edition American Standard for $250 less than the web price.
