If you put one of every animal in a bag, and then picked one out, you have a one-in-five chance of it being a Beetle.
You can fit all of the other planets, including Pluto, between the Earth and Moon. (This one doesn't surprise me all that much).
A million seconds is 12 days,
A billion seconds is 31 years,
A trillion seconds is 31,688 YEARS!!!!
Ok, now for the scary stuff...
Our sun is 864,000 miles in radius, equal to 109 Earth's.
At first, that doesn't sound particularly impressive, but you could fit 1.3 million Earths into it's volume, or 1000 Jupiters.
The insanity continues!
The red hypergiant star, Stephenson 2-18, believed to be the largest star found (so far), would require 2150 of our suns to cross it's diameter, and it's volume is estimated at 10,000,000,000 (ten billion) times that of our sun. If placed at the center of our solar system, it's outside perimeter would encompass the orbit of Saturn.
