The pickups that is. It came with Fender Noiseless which aren’t horrible but I got spoiled by my other Telecaster which had the Custom Shop Twisted Tele’s in it.

Scoured Reverb and found a used set for an OK price. Put those in the Tele and now I love it. The stainless frets are a joy to play and the Seafoam Green is a great colour for a modernish Tele.

Here’s a pic before the pickup swap.

Good call - just what I was going to suggest. Cool pro guitar but like you I really don't like those noiseless. I think they must be some sort of stacked pickup. The twisted Teles are rather leaning towards the Strat sound pups. I have the Lollar RoyalT and Vintage Tele as a set. And like yours, I think those specs sit between the Tele and the Strat. That guitar must play and sound amazing.

That guitar looks stunning

You‘re right, they are stacked.

That's interesting because if they are 1mg pots (as I think they are with the noiseless) they'll be sounding quite bright for the twisted set. And then.... if I was going to change the pots I'd work out a treble bleed. And then..... install two vol pots and use the S1 for switching in a treble-cut circuit instead of the tone pot. But I am a tinkerer for live guitars to make them fail-safe. The trouble is I found a guitar tech who's into this stuff and that took the brakes off.

It's a stunning guitar - not noticed that colour - I'm getting a severe case of GAS.

I’m a sucker for a matching headstock. Absolute beauty.

Nope, the Noiseless 4th gen pickups are set up with 250k pots (in the Elite series at least).

It’s a teensy bit brighter than my other Tele but nothing that can’t be easily adjusted with the tone knob.
