I find it to be an interesting fact in the story:
The older gentleman was a hobby player.
He bought the amp new and kept it in his law office and played occasionally.
He didn’t play anymore and was ready to let it go.
Mentioned it to a friend of mine who knew I wanted some tweed.
I was in the right place at the right time for once.
Most similar amps I looked at cost much more and many looked pretty beat up.
I rest my case.

If he was a lawyer, I have it on good authority from The Gear Page that he must have only used it occasionally with his 10-top PRS to play boomer bends. Nice deal.
