Does anyone else use the pre-programmed tracks on their RC3 (track 91-99) for extended improv jams?
I realize these are supposed to be there as a basic instructional thing, but I've found them to be great backing tracks for some pretty long improv jams. I've been enjoying this feature by plugging the RC3 into my Deluxe 90 'clean' and plugging the guitar into my Super Champ up top...that way I can muddy up the leads or use effects like delay, chorus, etc any old way I want yet not have it affect the backing tracks.
Just wondered if any other RC3 fans have used that feature?

This should have probably been posted in either the Boss effect section or RC3 section (if there is one) Mods feel free to relocate...

Thanks for saying that about 91 - 99. I didn't know they had that feature. I got an RC-3 recently, but haven't had much time to get to know it.

Maybe this thread would belong in "The Stomp Box"?

I tried Boss loopers recently and was dismayed that it automatically starts another track when you play after track 1. Is there a way to disable that?

Glad I could pass on that feature to you guys. Try it, and see if you like it. I sure do!

Thanks... those are fun. Had not wiped them.

Nice way to waste a few minutes.

RC3 was last in the FX loop of my mesa boogie with rack fx before so I could have clean RC loops and any guitar sounds.

Actually, I've managed to waste an hour or more at a time on these. It's really a good warm-up, especially the slower bluesy numbers. And there's a jazzy number in there that I can dial back the tone on the neck PUP and go to town with...never could play jazz for beans before this. I guess you CAN teach an old dog new tricks.
