Boss NS 2 and Harmonica?

    Is the Boss NS 2 any good a suppressing harmonica feedback?

    Not really. The NS2 is a noise gate. It will gate your harp, making it sound clunky and non-fluid... Doubt that's what you're looking for.

    Out harmonica player was asking about gates to our drummer/sound guy (very thorough guy, hates feedback with a passion) and even he said a gate wouldn't be worth it for harp. Too much is lost to the gate.

    Okay, what about using a equilizer pedal to wipe some of the higher frequencies?
