I wonder what mods they decided to put in. There are tonnes out there so I'm really curious. Hopefully the circuit gets traced and posted soon so we can all see.

I tried hard to love the original DS-1 but just couldn't get there try as I may. Don't think I want to spend more bucks to try the WAZA. However I did stumble upon the TC Electronics Black Matter that filled that nitch very satisfactory

The DS1 really isn't a bad pedal. I think the problem is the same problem this video has, the dude immediately starts playing terrible 80's rock on it. Play with one, use in a different way, it's really a good pedal for what it is. The demo is terrible as are most DS1 demos.
