Cool idea, but that there is for the collectors, not players. I'd kinda like to try one of those SP-1s.

I do like the look of the black DS-1 - very Spinal Tapp....

I haven't been keeping up with Boss. Do they offer a switch now to turn off their buffers.

Very cool. So glad I've pledged to buy "no new pedals in 2017". Looks like I've saved myself nearly a grand.

The old SP-1's seem to be going for some pretty high prices. One is on Reverb right now for the asking price of $520! Then again that's the "asking" price. OD-1's and PH-1's are pretty easy to find in the $150's or so, so there's $300 for 2 pedals. Hmmm...

Boss pedals are cool but not that cool.

Yeah, this is clearly a collector's item. I don't get the appeal of the SP-1, either.

Would love that phaser, but not for that much.

In fact I have a cheap knockoff that's identical and cost me around 30.00. It gives a nice twang but it's certainly not an always on pedal. It's alike a mild envelope filter.

    If I have $300 to spend on a pedal,it won't be Boss,that's for sure!
