Although Bob's family, and the ras claats that hold the rights to his music have released some live shows over the years, their treatment of Bob's music, particularly live shows, has been abysmal. If they simply followed the path that the Grateful Dead have pathed, all would be great. But alas, their heads are clearly up the lower part of their anatomy. That being said, they are currently releasing a great run of shows from the Rainbow Theater in London from July 1,2,3,4, 1977. We have been waiting for a proper release of these shows for years and the time has come. Although they are only doing them digitally, which is kind of a shame, they sound great. Spotify has 3 of them and the 4th should get released this week.
Here's a fantastic cut of The Heathen from the first night. The whole show is incredible.
