Supercar Blondie didn't mention anything about cupholders, stereo or an ashtray. That's a fail from me. I don't think those side windows would pass the legal tint restrictions either.

it has about 1.5 inches of ground clearance. BMW now needs to invent a road to drive it on.

I kinda like this, but then I’m a BMW die-hard. I won’t be around to see it and am perfectly happy doing my own driving (sideways) in my current autos.

One thing for sure, the lines on this are more eye-pleasing than the new Corvette:lol:

Not ready myself for the cosmetics of the car, but I really appreciate the "live geometry"(I think that what she called it)
From an engineering/progression of technology standpoint that is awesome.

    Interesting engineering exercise.

That expanding fender to allow the wheels to move. Kinda cool, until a few bird droppings and tree sap and stone chips prevent them from moving.

Again - engineering exercise, but not really practical.

@drf64 - Ground clearance. Exactly. And I'm guessing changing a flat tire would be a challenge - or even checking air pressure. Sure, they could use those airless tires, then replacing them would probably include disassembling half the front end.

Again - engineering exercise, but not really practical. Did I mention that already?

I would not watch another Supercar Blondie video either. She seemed sort of clueless.

Apparently in the next 100 years the roads will be smooth and there won't be any deer to hit.
Right now roads are deteriorating faster than than budgets allow them to be fixed and deer are breeding like rabbits. . . . .

I don't think BMW drivers are much concerned about window tint anyway.....they don't pay attention to anyone or anything else on the road. It's OUR responsibility to watch out for THEM! ;)

Miserable fish poops are eating our landscaping to bits. Deer-B-Gone? Pfft - salad dressing. Deer resistant plants? Pfft - when you are hungry enough, you'll eat anything. And they are.

    OK, back on topic...

I like to see in their windows. That way if you spot a fedora or tartan travel rug on the back shelf you can give them an even wider berth.

Does it have indicators, and a special radar to allow tailgating to within a gnats gnadger? The former are not required on any BMW after the 1602/2002 and 635CSL models as they are merely vestigial ornaments meant to pass local laws only. The latter has been standard fitment for years, and it would be a shame if it was no longer installed.

I wonder if the 'skin' will be wholly resistant to jealous nerks and their bladed paint defoulers.

It's almost 2020 people, every car should of looked like this in 2001, and flying by 2015. What a gyp, future!

    Hey guys. . . . I DRIVE A BMW !

Well ok I a Dodge. My daughters been driving the BMW since November.
She calls it "my car" as in "her car" !

Want to talk about stereotyping people in vehicles?
Let's pick on pickup truck drivers that shouldn't be driving anything bigger than a Yogo!
Mirrors? Those are for checking your hair before you get in NOT FOR BACKING UP!
Put a trailer behind one of these "man wanna bes" and things get really interesting.
Some time I need to go to a busy boat landing and video "boat backing failures". But I'd imagine YouTube is already full of those.
Hell they can even back into the county landfill transfer station without a trailer! So the county spent millions on a drive through.

    Oh

    By the way.
I couldn't stand BMW drivers either before I bought one. Lol

The live geometry concept is pretty cool. As concept cars go, this is much more innovative. Not sure how the collapse of western civilization will support such nonsense, but fun to watch anyway.

Hey Bobby....sorry about you being lumped into the BMW-stereotype. Sounds like you may be in remission or recovery. ;)
I think the BMW disdain is largely due to the overall (I'm generalizing) indifference by drivers of almost ANY high end car to others on the road. At least around my parts, most of the drivers of those vehicles "seem" to have an entitled view that they "own" the road, and that no one else matters. BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Bentley, and other luxury car owners REALLY don't use their signals or adhere to the "courtesies" of the road. Of course, many Kia and Chevy drivers don't either, but they're not as obvious in doing (or not doing) it.
This criticism is probably much like what "we" heap on Gibson and PRS......it makes us feel better about ourselves. :)
