I have a Blues Junior where the reverb was very distorted at any setting, even the most minimal.

I am wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem with a Blues Junior.

My solution was to reduce the amount of signal going into the reverb circuit. R37 and R38 form a voltage divider at the input to the reverb op amp. I changed R38 from 68K to 15K, reducing the signal level by about 4.5X. I did this initially with a trimmer, so I could find the point where the reverb was not distorted any more. Then I soldered a fixed resistor.

I could find information about other problems with the Blues Junior reverb, but I cannot find any mention of the problem that I have (had).

Has anyone else seen this? Was my fix done properly, or is there a better way?

Do you know if it is there is a problem with the tank? If the transducer gets misaligned it will cause a distorted sound.

No, the tank checked out. I did a thorough check of it, since I thought the tank would be the culprit (or maybe a bad op amp or power feeding the op amp).

By reducing the signal going into the reverb circuit, the reverb sounds really nice.
