First thread I've done. I wanted to get your all's opinions on my guitar. She's an '08 American standard Tele in Blizzard pearl with a maple neck.
I've never been a big fan of silver guitars. Well, not super silvery or silver burst. But i think the Blizzard pearl color is a very subtle silver.
Sometimes it looks white, sometimes silver, and sometimes it looks like champagne. I love this guitar and i think she's beautiful.
I want your opinion on the finish, as well as if you have a blizzard too I'd love to see some pictures.

Here's a video of one of 'em in action.

I love it! Just missed out on one a while back when my local shop had a closing down sale. Just waited for it to drop another £10 and it didn't before someone snatched it up. Regretted it ever since!

I don't think that's him playing, it's a German guy who seems to demo every Telecaster going with one of these vids! I recognise those arms anywhere!

I think the color would look out of place with a vintage setup, but on the AmStnd, very cool!

It's an acquired taste I suppose - plus a lot of people will undoubtedly compare it to more traditional finishes as well.

Then again, there are some people who literally hate sunburst or blonde finishes too.

As for me... I have absolutely nothing against it, but wouldn't get one myself.

But, hey, to each their own, right? So in that spirit:

    Congratulations!

    And Good Luck.

Great colour, very stylish and a bit different. Maybe an option for one of those limited runs the professional tele is bound to have sooner rather than later!

Had the Clapton boost FSR from Guitar Center, loved the Blizzard Pearl, loved the neck the noiseless pups not so much. Great color[emoji106]

Put a black pickguard on that, or at least something dark, and I think it would be sharp.

I've got a 60th anniversary MIM Strat in blizzard pearl. It does photograph white more times than not but it does kinda color shift in person. One of my best friends has told me on several occasions it's ugly but he covers his solid black bass and guitar in stickers, so...
