Found it on Youtube and couldn't get the DVD fast enough. Great Music and super relaxed mood.

    Two Qs on Clapton Telecaster:

The neck on the Tele is a Strat neck. Doesn't it look look like the neck on the Blackie he played later on?

I am now watching the DVD for the third time. Clapton was using the middle position for the whole Concert and he did not switch on the whole set?

I think it’s the neck from Brownie.

Clapner liked that middle position quite a bit in that era.

I used to obsess over that guitar, but I got over it. I've wondered what became of it, I don't think he ever used it again.

Fender made a custom shop version of that guitar in September only 50 made, it was older wiring where the middle position was neck pickup only. Here is the Demo of the reissue guitar

Just an FYI for those interested ( I think I got this right?)

If it is stock middle PU selector setting for Vintage Tele,
then this is Neck PU only ( no Tone control) wide open to output

    - if in #3 forward position it is neck PU only, with ' bass circuit'

    - in #1 back position, bridge AND Neck PU's are ON, ' Tone knob' is a blender to blend bridge <> neck.

I’ve never understood the why - Strat neck on a Tele or vice versa.
