Blind Faith...best one album band ever?

I heard "Had to Cry Today" on regular radio in the car today. I got to thinking about how great a band that was and how they only had one album. And then it occurred to me that Blind Faith has to be the best one album band ever. I can't even think of anybody close.

You should check out “Give Up” by the Postal Service if you’ve never heard it. By TDPRI standards, it’s practically an infant at only 20 years old.

I'd love to be in a fun, one-off project with a good band, doing the entire album.

Doesn't have to be note-for-note, just jam on the songs- like they did!

Weakling's Dead as Dreams is absolutely fantastic, the pinnacle of American black metal in my opinion. Shrinebuilder's self titled is amazing from the stoner/doom world. Disembowelment's Transcendence into the Peripheral is a masterpiece of death-doom as well... All bands that have only released one album.

It's hard to compete with Clapton and Winwood at their peak, but Thunderclap Newman's Hollywood Dream is pretty great too. The Exploding Hearts' Guitar Romantic is also one of my favorites by a band that only did one album.
