I heard they're good & expensive guitars made in Switzerland.
Some compare them to Tom Andersons, that's saying a lot

Not all Blades are made in Switzerland. Most are now made in the Far East and are quite affordable. I believe the Player Series is their budget line.

Edited - not sure how much they are priced at.

    Sweet.
they`ve been around a long time - MF anf GC USED to carry them.
Blades are made in Switzerland and Korea - not by cort, if that bothers you. The swiss ones are compared to the Suhr strats.
As for the budget ones I like mine better than any american strat I`ve ever held. It`s like getting a strat ultra for $700. It`s the best SOUNDING guitar I own. Does yours have the active vsc? I don`t see a switch for it.

Blade looks like they have a very nice lineup of guitars, but they don't seem to be available in the USA. Not a single one on eBay either.

The only American distributor listed on their site is in Grant's Pass, Oregon. Could probably get one through them, if you worked out mailing prices.

Their map links to mvpaudio. Not a single guitar on their site.

I found a discontinued Blade Durango Standard
on CL for $125. I had to do some restoration,
but I think I ended with one that's a cut above
    a standard MIA Fender Strat,
