I wonder if anybody here might be able to clarify this for me.

While looking at stew-mac today I noticed there are two fender trussrod nuts available

    8-32 thread
    and 10-32 thread

8-32 is for 5/32'' rod and 10-32 is for 3/16'' rod?

Does anybody know thread details and width/length details for the rod, anchor and nut as used throughout the history of the broadcasters and early blackguards?

The stewmac catalog online doesn't really clarify when what was used, and I dug through the blackguard book, and didn't see a clear indication of it there either, though it does have info about the nut slot style.

I see Rutter's guitars sells a single slot 10-32 so is that vintage correct?

early early days there was also 10-24 thread on a 3/16ths diam rod
truss rod nut also was shorter until 1959

I know it's a necro-bump, but did you manage to source a 5/32 rod with 8-32 nut and anchor by any chance?
