Got mine in today and very nice it is too but i got to thinkin'.....

How many is Nacho printing, 5500 or so? When was the book first published 2005?

What really blows my mind is that there have been less than 5500 people interested in buying this book during the last 13 years....globally 5500 is very small, right? You would have thought they would be lining up around the World to buy this book from day one...I'm gobsmacked!

Bottom line, the USA and Europe between them have managed to buy up less than 5500 of these fine Telecaster books? Wow

There used to be a thread here whereby you could list the serial number of your blackguard book.

[EDIT]Here it is... Blackguard book owners club [\EDIT]

Hardback book was approx $85 shipped from JK Lutherie, USA, when it was first published.

Unsure of the original vendor(s) for Europe.

(update) Checked Reverb and there are two listed at approx $400 each. One sez new.

(updated) Reference Hoodies link above - Blackguard Book Owners

My book is #4054. Matches my early 1980s USRI 52.

Here’s one that’ll really blow your mind-

I’d bet dollars to donuts one could sell about the same amount of copies of a similar book dedicated to early Charvel and Jackson guitars.

We like to believe we’re a huge demographic, but people just ain’t that into this stuff. Ask 100 random people on the street what they think about telecasters, and you might find one or two who actually know what one is without any help. Maybe. Possibly. If you’re really lucky.

Hardcover, very heavy book. Very nicely put together. I think I paypal'd Nacho about $150 almost 2 years ago with shipping from Europe. But yeah on Reverb I've seen them sell for around $400-500.

    Well worth it!
