Saw em tonight. They're awesome. Not my everyday style of music, but it's good, and those guys can really play! Saw lots of cool guitars too. They swap about every other song. Give me a listen!

One of my favorite bands. Seen 'em four times, going to see 'em again in June. Glad you enjoyed the show.

I'd go see them in a heartbeat. I think they are the type of band who gives their best performances on stage. They are carrying on the tradition of Southern Rock. Since I grew up listening to ABB, Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker, etc. I have an affinity for that kind of music. Blackberry Smoke are the real deal.

Did they do "when the levee breaks"? They do a great version!

I just discovered these guys recently and I really dig them...

they remind of a mashup of:

    Lynyrd Skynyrd
    Molley Hatchett
    AC/DC

    Good stuff!

I'm a fan, too. One of my favorite things to do is crank up one of their shows on YouTube and just jam along with it. The songs are so simple that you can pick them up within the first pass and then go to town. Nothing wrong with simple-- they certainly are tight and add a lot of hooks and subtleties that keep it interesting.

    No sir, they didn't.

And yeah, they are the real deal. Those guys get into what they do, and they enjoy the show just as much as the crowd. I'll definitely see them again!

They're on my very short #1 list of bands to see live.

Not pretty boys relying on fancy studio production, they're a "genuine" working band that knows how to put on a show using real musical skills. I am so sick of "musicians" who rely on lighting, dancing, slick tricks and superstar hysteria to carry their shows.

The greatest thing about a BBS show is that they encourage the crowd to sing along. When you're in a theater filled with folks who all know the lyrics to all the songs, it is an amazing feeling.

I too, want to see their show. But I have watched quite a few YouTube videos !! They are a great band. To bad they don't get the attention they deserve , as far as radio play goes. But they sure seem to sell out at a lot of locations !

You should check out Gaslight Anthem too. Those guys are true musicians too. Real vintage equipment, long days on the road in a van, and cranking it out every night at their shows doing what they love. I like the little guys with heart.....

Never heard of them so I checked out on youtube, a live show.

    WOW! Me Likey!

Sounds to me like a cross of the Black Crowes and Crazy Horse.

So I took a look at there website to see if they are touring and
discovered they just played in Cleveland a few weeks ago :(
I wish this thread started last month!

I've seen them several times, last time was last week in St Louis. Awesome show. They interact with the crowd, play some great covers, all around cool band and good guys. As much as I enjoy being 4 feet away in small clubs, I wish them the best and a packed 20,000 seat arena every night.
