    Hi guys

Trying to get my hands on the black guard book from jk lutherie but they want $80 to ship to the uk. That's the price of the book almost, does anyone know of any other ways to get this book?

    Cheers

It's heavy. Really heavy so that accounts for the $80.

I don't know if Nacho has a stash he can ship from Spain? Maybe drop him a PM and ask.

You may also want to check Elderly, too. They were one of the other sellers of the book in the US. I'm not sure if they ship internationally or not, but their shipping price may be different depending on who they use as a carrier.

It is a big, very heavy book.

It costs $80 to ship it because it weighs 10 pounds!

But it's worth it. Old Blackguard Book #00065 is going in the pine box with me!

    Thanks again Nacho!!

    Probably not.

Nacho is a forum member and a great guy.

Maybe he has a stash of those books in Spain?

I've had an eBay watch on this book for months and months. Nothing comes up, I guess nobody wants to sell.
It's a real shame there are none available from europe, as the postage and customs from the States is a real killer.

Nacho is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He even mentioned me in....The Blackguard Book!

I'm glad you worked it out and managed to get one. Enjoy.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but can't you get this book through Amazon UK?

I'm really kicking myself for missing one in the tdpri classifieds. I snoozed. I losed.

They really look like a great book. I'm having fun with The strat in the stick at the moment.

No. To reduce distribution costs Nacho did a deal with JK Lutherie and all the proceeds go to charity.
