Got a 1930s waterfront cabin because my wife wanted it. Like I didn't have enough projects.

Scored a new TV yellow Les Paul Special for a third off. Birthday present to myself.

Is Amazon selling real estate now or did you have to get off the couch to buy the cabin?
And was the cabin actually made in the 1930s or is it a reissue?

I bought a $6.00 TV Jones pickup ring from Sweetwater and an actual person called me on the phone about it.
Only got a message, I hope it wasn’t something like disclosing that it has termites or a wet basement!

I don't "do" Black Friday. I went on a Bourbon distillery tour.

Not a lot. Got a charging mat for my phone (waited a week for the sales) and traded a camera lens for a weather-sealed one. Avoiding the hype.

Awesome find...if I may ask where did you find a deal like that. P90's or HB's ??

I got a new inexpensive deer rifle/scope combo in 6.5CM...25% off at the local sporting goods store...yahoo.

Would have been happier with a new Gibby LPS haha!

I got a second one of these: the guitar so nice, I bought it twice.

(Not my actual guitar, this one seems to have a wooden bridge, and the shape is kinda off)
As the first "King" did, this came with an awesome faux-alligator case, and as the first one was and is, this is just an amazing guitar.

So, that makes three Brydland copies

This arrived on Black Friday. I didn't go out there in that mess, I let them bring it to me

This one is going back, it looks like a Friday guitar. Turned up with a broke switch tip which is no biggie, but it looks like the colour was applied by Stevie Wonder. My Japan market ltd edition Special from 2016 is light years better. So much for Gibson's new quality control.

Walmart not essential? That’s heresy to about 40% of the US:eek::lol:, according to Florida Man.

My Black Friday budget is going to the Porsche shop; the Boxster has a slight illness.

Not one of these I hope: https://www.gibson.com/Guitar/USA2KP357/Les-Paul-Special or
    https://www.gibson.com/Guitar/CUSNZT900/1957-Les-Paul-Special-Single-Cut-Reissue-VOS

I don't know why particularly but '16 seems to have been a good QC year for the less expensive Gibsons.

I got a few hours extra sleep and the satisfaction of not getting involved in that mess.

    For the absolute win.

One of my modest ambitions is to tour distilleries in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland...some day...water of life....

I normally never have enough $$ anymore, to buy anything gear-wise, besides strings, picks.
But I have been gigging like crazy lately and just treated myself to a NEW NECK for my beloved cheap Tex- Mex Stratocaster. The frets are shot from original, so what the heck!

It's a Mighty Mite ( Rosewood board) neck from Stew-Mac on sale for $135- so I just got it, along with new tuners and a few needed drill bits.
Will get some ' more handy than me' guitar buddies to drill/install
