Twice As Hard: Watch The Black Crowes’ Rich Robinson Hit Stage Crasher With Guitar In Melbourne
The Black Crowes guitarist Rich Robinson used his axe to fend off a stage invader during the band's concert on Sunday in Melbourne, Australia.
True, but they had to re-start the song.So derivative!![]()
Looked like the drunk was larger than and had briefly repelled the first security guy, nobody up there with him but Rich at that point. Dude's lucky he didn't take that Tele to the jaw and I wish he had; change these folks' calculus a little bit.Security had him covered, Rich didn’t need to come charging at him with a Tele buttstroke. Good way to invite a lawsuit and assault with a deadly…guitar charge.
Another example of the 3 bolt neck holding up just fine!Black 70's Tele Custom with a maple neck, same guitar that Keith did it with.
Got off light. Morons, I tells ya. No accountin' for 'em.
Nah, get off the damn stage. Ain’t his in anyway. Respect the artist.Hmmm? Rock N' Roll. Maybe Hippy-extraordinaire "Chris Robinson" should have just danced with the guy then -- escorted the guy offstage... and bought him a beer and a bong after?
I guess the bad boys of boogie are now well paid boomer (slightly after?) businessmen with security and marketing plans that have no room for stage diving and free expression - drugs/alcohol - good ol' fashion hippy style chaos. Okay. What would Sid and Nancy think?
Stage invader, or "staged" invader?Need a better camera angle. Too funny that a Stones-inspired band has this happen.
