Looked like the drunk was larger than and had briefly repelled the first security guy, nobody up there with him but Rich at that point. Dude's lucky he didn't take that Tele to the jaw and I wish he had; change these folks' calculus a little bit.
Super uncool for other fans, and this kind of thing is terrifying for the artist I am sure; no telling when you're gonna have another Dimebag situation.

Over reaction I'd say. Reminds me of 6 bouncers swarming an otherwise harmless drunk. Dude was off the stage in seconds and once he was, security could handle him.
But what do I know? Closest similar thing that happened to me likely was a pesky drunk harp player that "knows all the songs".
